From the By pass Road drive towards Kollam Side and reach at Kazhakoottam after crossing Infosys and Technopark. From Kazhakoottam towards Attingal, just after KSRTC Bus Depot can reach Kaniyapuram Alummoodu Junction. From Alummoodu Junction take left road towards Railway Gate Junction and from the front of Railway Gate turn Right and can find Asian Aviation College of Management & Science and Airline Academy after the shops.
By Rail
From Trivandrum Central, Thampanoor travel via Road NH-47 via Kesavadasapuram and turn left to the Kazhakootam From Kazhakoottam towards Attingal, just after KSRTC Bus Depot can reach Kaniyapuram Alummoodu Junction. From Alummoodu Junction take left road towards Railway Gate Junction and from the front of Railway Gate turn Right and can find Asian Aviation College of Management & Science and Airline Academy after the shops. If by local train (Passenger Train/Shuttle Service), get down at Kaniyapuram Railway Station walk 2 minutes from the station to Railway Gate and can find Asian Aviation College of Management & Science and Airline Academy after the shops.
By Road
On NH-47 reach Attingal KSRTC Bus Depot proceed further to Mangalapuram, Pallipuram CRPF Junction then to Kaniyapuram Alummoodu Junction. From Alummoodu Junction take right road towards Railway Gate Junction and from the front of Railway Gate turn Right and can find Asian Aviation College of Management & Science and Airline Academy after the shops.If it is via MC Road get down at Venjaramoodu take connection bus via Pothencode to Kaniyapuram Bus Depot. From Kanyakumary Side use By pass Road to reach Kaniyapuram.

FAQ
1. When shod we contact the Academy for admissions?
     Admission for various courses will be done from April to July every year. However since seats are limited parents can reserve the seats for there wards from February onwards.
2. Who can apply for the courses?
     Candidates who have passed +2 or graduation in any stream can apply for the courses. Computer knowledge and English communication skills will be an added advantage.
3. Is there any age limit for applying for a course in the Academy?
     Boys seeking admission should be aged between 18 and 25 years and girls between 17 and 24 years for diploma courses.
4. What are the job avenues associated with the courses in the Academy?
     On successful completion of our courses, the cadets become eligible for jobs in the Hospitality industry especially in the Airline, Travel & Tourism sectors and in Airport operational streams such as Reservation, Check-in, Traffic Operations, Baggage Handling and Acceptance, Cargo, Ramp, Airline and Airport Security, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Shipping, Airside Safety, Flight Dispatch, Cabin Crew etc.
5. Does the Academy help the students for job placements after the courses?
     The Academy provides 100% placement assistance to all successful students. However we cannot give any individual guarantee as the candidates need to acquire required standards and fulfill eligibility criteria prescribed by individual Airlines/Employers.
6. I am not a resident of Kerala, it would be difficult for me to travel everyday to the Academy. Is there any hostel facility available?
     Since we conduct a residential programme for our diploma courses, we provide hostel accommodation to the students.
7. What is the validity of the certification issued by the academy?
     The Airline Academy, the Punjab Technical University and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) issue separate certificates to the students on passing all papers of the prescribed examinations conducted separately. All these certificates are accepted by all Airlines, Aviation and Hospitality Industry world-wide. Our Combo certification programme equips the learners with the right tools, skills and awareness for highly paid jobs in airline companies and airports.

10. Is there any provision for on the job training in airports as a part of the academic training program?
     Yes, we arrange on the job training to the students in international airports as apart of academic curriculum.
11. What is the pass percentage of marks for each subject offered by the academy?
     Based on national and international airline standards and norms, min 70% scores in each subject with a weightage of 80% marks for communication skills and internal behavioral assessment, is the qualifying criterion followed by the Academy as well as IATA. Separate and detailed guidelines will be issued to the students for achieving excellence and higher grades to ensure priority in placements.
12. I have heard that one has to be a graduate to work in the airline industry. Is there any degree course conducted by the Academy?
     BSc(ATHM-Airline Tourism and Hospitality Management) course affiliated to Punjab Technical university, Jalandhar, is conducted in the Academy.PTU is a State Government University of Punjab, recognized by UGC, AICTE, DEC, AIU and many other Indian Universities. Qualified students of the PTU can get employment in State and Central Government departments and can pursue higher studies in other approved universities in India and outside.
13. What is NACT and what are its benefits?
     NACT is National Aviation Cadetship Training corps designed by the Academy for giving force like training to the cadets to make them confident, courageous and physically fit.
14. Is it mandatory to be a residential student or can I be a day scholar?
     Those students who do not want to enroll themselves for the residential program have the option to be day scholars. However, for plus two students opting for two years dual degree and diploma, residential program is compulsory.
15. As I was browsing your website, I came across with Express Airline and Airport Services .can you tell me more about the same?
     It is a concern under the same management where in cadets undergoing training in the academy can have practical exposure and training.
16. What are the modern facilities the Academy classrooms are equipped with?
     The Academy has digitalized class rooms with projectors & CC cameras, TV and other audio visual aids.
17. Does the Academy help in getting bank loans for the purpose of paying the course fees?
     Yes, the Academy provides all necessary certificates and documents required for obtaining loans from the Bank. However sanctioning of loan is purely the discretion of banks based on their eligibility criteria.
18. What are the duration of the courses offered by the Academy?
     Certificate courses are of six months, Diploma courses 2yrs, Degree courses-3yrs, PG Diploma-1 yr, MBA -2yrs
19. Apart from the academic syllabi what are the extra curricular activities undertaken by the Academy?
     International student exchange programs, Drill/ PT training, Industrial Familiarizations trip, International Air trip, Department orientation program, POP & talent shows etc are the extra curricular activities undertaken in the Academy .
20. Do you have any provision for any interaction with the industry experts by the students?
     Yes, we conduct Airport visits, International Air trips and leaders meet programs for interaction with Industry experts.
21. What are the measures adopted to improve English speaking skills of the students?
     Besides having special classes for English speaking skills ,the students everyday practice Assembly speeches and attend communication club programs in the Hostels. They also appear for BEC exams conducted by British council and approved by Cambridge.
22. Do you provide any training to the cadets to appear for interviews?
     Yes, we conduct special coaching classes for interview techniques &management skills and in the art of CV construction etc.
23. Is uniform compulsory for students and if so what is the pattern?
     Yes, uniform is compulsory for residential programs. Airline academy has a patented uniform and all trainees have to be in that uniform on all working days in the Academy premises.. Civil dress, ethnic casuals, religious dresses or markings are not permissible. The gents are expected to trim their hair as per instructions and the ladies are to keep their hair in pattern prescribed by the Academy. Our name logo and uniforms are registered with the Government of India under service and Trade Mark Act.
24. Is the training centre of the Academy recognized and if so by whom?
     Yes, ITDI approved and recognized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India for conducting Professional Aviation Courses with global acceptance and affiliated to Punjab State Government University for conducting Airline, Travel, Tourism, Cargo and Hospitality Diploma, Degree and Masters Degree( MBA )courses in Airline and Airport Management.
25. Kindly highlight the process of admission for the courses in the Academy?
     Admissions are purely on merit on the basis of following tests and verifications after the initial registration.

1. Language proficiency test in English
2. Airline industry Aptitude Test
Verifications
1. Character assessment certificate

26. Kindly brief me about the mode of payment of the academy course fees and other charges.

     Once selected after the tests and verifications, the candidates should confirm or reserve the seats within the stipulated time as per the norms of the Academy.
     Any candidate for whom a seat is allotted, will have to pay the full course fee in advance or give an assurance to the same through a bond with Id proof and a guarantor.
     Single advance payment is preferred and advised. However the course fee can be paid in installments with additional charges per module in cash or through DD in advance before the commencement of each module. Personal cheques are not acceptable. There are separate charges for uniform, air trip, hostel, books, examinations and projects.
     Assignments allocated relating to the academic curriculum and industrial visit expenses or any other similar expense should be met by the individual separately as and when notified. An appropriate late fee will be charged on all delayed payments.
